The Scriptures

We believe that the written revelation of God, the word of God, is true, pure and preserved in the King James Bible.

Getting to Heaven
    The Triune God

We believe there is but one living and true God who is self-existent and self-revealing in three distinct persons- The Father,
The Son and The Holy Spirit.
    The Fall of Man

We believe that Adam was entrusted by God with care of the Garden of Eden, but that he voluntarily disobeyed the
revealed will of God and, as a result, passed on sin to everyone on this earth except the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that
man cannot remedy his or anyone else’s sin, is apart from God and is subject to death and the torment of Hell.
    Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, purchased by Christ on the cross, and is a free gift, neither merited nor
secured by any virtue or work of any person. It is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through the
instrumentality of the word of God as applied by the Holy Spirit.
    The Church

We believe the church, the body of Christ, was founded by Him, that He is building it, and that it began on the day of
Pentecost. We believe that a local church is a number of persons of a locality voluntarily united because of a common
nature and interest, called out to take the Gospel to a lost world, and in so doing, to glorify God. We believe the church has
two ordinances, the Lord’s Supper and scriptural baptism of a professing believer in water. It has only two offices, bishop
    (pastor) and deacon.
